Our story

LENOOSH Design is a family owned workshop, and our story started with a gourd and a great craftsmanship.

We pick the gourds from our garden, and select the ones that have a beautiful shape and can be crafted to carry our patterns.

Every day I continue acquiring new skills in the elaboration of my designs. I am increasingly focusing on the creation of lamps that offer an ambient light.

The unexpected combinations of natural materials we use, turn every lamp into a unique handmade piece of craft-art.

When you buy one of our lamps, you don’t just take home a product. You contribute to reducing the consumption of non-renewable resources, minimize waste and reduce the negative impacts on the environment.

What we do

Our main products are handmade lamps, designed to decorate different environments: lamps for, rural houses, lodgings, apartments etc.

Most of the materials used are natural: wood, stone, stone, and the process is totally artisan. I create different types of lamps: floor, ceiling, table, wall lamps.

They are unique lamps made by hand, all are different, always looking for originality in their designs and providing an ambient lighting that generates a special set of lights and shadows.

Custom lamps are also created. By having complete control over the whole process, the customer can decide 100% the design: from the type of lamp to the design of the drawing, through the materials used in each structure. On the other hand, my creations have diversified into other decorative elements, such as flowerpots, vases and bags. The common element in all creations is, of course, the gourd.

How we do it

The process starts in our garden. We plant the seeds, and we try to acquire a variety of gourd types: large bottle gourd, medallion white gourd, speckled swan gourd, broad gourd etc.

After around 5 months of constant care of the plants we take the fruits, and we continue with the drying step which takes about 6 months and requires periodic care.

Once ready, the design phase steps in, in which I draw different patterns, that after I start carving and painting, and after we go to the assembly which is totally handmade,we designed every part of the lamp and built exclusively for each lamp.
